Symbian-Guru: Nokia N96 - King Of The Mobiles

    Two things about the N96:
    1) What if you first transfer data to a 8Gb micro SD card, installed it on the device and then transfer from it to the internal memory, would it work? If so, I think this particular limitation is no problem at all.
    2) I'm a gadget junkie and owner of a N95 classic. I have to say I'm not tempted at all to buy the N96. I don't think it considerably adds any functionality and see no reason to "upgrade". Plus, I think the N96 looks ugly.

Why do they keep making these things with too small batteries? Do they expect that everyone wants their phone to be as tethered to a power source as a laptop?

    Still no Xenon flash? Ridiculous.

I know know how important DVB-H is, because using a slingbox is far better.

Also I am in the US so I have no problem waiting for the US n96 with a bigger battery ^_^ (just a guess)

I totally called the gaming buttons though, i've been saying from the start that they media keys on the n95 should have been more game like. I hope they allow them to be 'programmable' in the sense that you can tell the phone what program is a game, and what number keys the buttons represent in the game buttons to add 'backwards' compatibility

I think N96 will be a best selling phone like N95.But its looks like ugly than N95.However the flash and internal memory is good. 2.8'' display is also awesome.I think Nokia N96 is better than Nokia N95

I wonder how long it will be before the N96 is available as a free upgrade on T-Mobile Contract???

I would really love one of these things as they have everything that the N95 Should of had and more.

Personally, I'll take an N85 over this beast. The DVB-H (digital TV) is a non-factor/feature since its availability at present time is next to nil.

I hope the phone doesn't go the way(into obscurity) the N93, just a thought.

    We'll see.
