Why do routine things from Nokia have to be such a pain? I am talking about a decent email client, PC suite, etc. I mean they are not ROCKET SCIENCE are they, when you are virtually controlling the platform

Re: Nokia Email Gets Updated For Some, Shafts Others

I visited the Nokia website this morning after reading about the update on another site. Was able to have the sms sent to my phone, downloaded and got it up and running in a few minutes time on my e71. The new version is much better than the old version I had (not sure what the old version was, but it was capable of handling multiple email accounts as well).

Re: Nokia Email Gets Updated For Some, Shafts Others

Nokia email sucks anyways. Too slow and clunky. Plus no HTML. Profimail rocks. light weight and feature rich. Anybody know any other email client that supports HTML mails?

Re: Nokia Email Gets Updated For Some, Shafts Others

Hi, I just received the Nokia email service update.
Received the install text link, installed, working great.

Located in Belfast, Ireland.

Regards,
Darren.

Re: Nokia Email Gets Updated For Some, Shafts Others

Hello from Germany,
just downloaded the new version. I did not get an e-mail notification. Looks slightly different from the previous one.
I hope it works better with GMail.

Greetings
Tom

Re: Nokia Email Gets Updated For Some, Shafts Others

email.nokia.com had been down most of the day for me, but at around midnight PDT it is up and available. However, the Nokia Email client isn't able to fetch information from Gmail for some reason. Go figure.

Re: Nokia Email Gets Updated For Some, Shafts Others

Nothing in it for India also

Re: Nokia Email Gets Updated For Some, Shafts Others

Ditto on what symbianism said.
Still in Toronto Canada as mentioned above.
Also noticed that according to the Nokia Beta Labs site Nokia Email was "Published on Beta Labs: August 8, 2008" so the update hasn't hit there as of yet either.

Re: Nokia Email Gets Updated For Some, Shafts Others

email.nokia.com is completely down.
