i downloaded nokia PC suite for my nokia 5230 phone.it connected with the phone and the operator also connecting. but showing an error symbol saying no internet access. the connection between the phone modem and the pc is showing an error symbol. how can i solve this?

I have to agree, Nokia has been going downhill. I haven't 'upgraded' to any other phone since I first upgraded to the Nokia E90 from the Nokia 9500. But as my third(!) Nokia E90 died, I was forced to look for a new phone. I've had tons, even toyed with Android and the iPhone but they just didn't appeal to me. I was really hesitant to consider buying a Nokia E7 Communicator, but I did. Symbian Belle (now Nokia Belle) is great. The phone is typically fast, but it does slow down from time to time. It's got great memory and memory management. I couldn't be happier.

I'm sorry to see Symbian-Guru go. I haven't been here for a while (obviously) - But I always knew where to go should I need some Symbian news. RIP Symbian-Guru.

get BLAZE ULTIMATE cooked firmware (won't post it here because i don't know the rules of this website. Better google it ;)
if you have BLAZE and did not install SPB shell, you will get atleast 60mb RAM on startup.

And this is done on my NOKIA 5800. ;) no joke

nokia has cheated us, never go to nokia again in my life.
i have nokia c6-00 past from 10 months,its a worst smartphone ever.
it lags a lot.
can't open more then 2 apps,some times shows memory full error,and apps closes automatically.
hangs a lot while operating.
while browsing browser closes automatically.
youtube videos doesn't play properly.
really very very slow performance.
GPS signals receiving is not good.

i gave it to nokia care for several times but no use, they'll flush it and give back.then also same issues.
what is the use of paying 12.5k to such a stupid smartphone.

nokia is making fraud, they are cheating people a lot.

so finally decided to quit nokia and go for samsung.

probably this is too late for the interest of many, but seeing as the E63 is still sold and the E71 and E72 are still common phones I thought I'd add two points into the Hate category which noone has mentioned here.

1) email: the client always disconnects Gmail on IDLE yet my E63 does not. The Nokia reason for this is reputedly that it uses more power than is acceptable. Well my examinations do not support that. I can only suspect its about forcing you through their portal of nokia messaging and gaining access to your credentials

2) predictive text is not up to the E63 in quality when writing. I know many say "I don't use predictive text because its annoying" well, if you used that of the E63 I'm willing to bet you would find it more attractive. After using the E63 without predictive for 3 months then turning it on by accident I discovered how good it was.

I think its quite a shame that Nokia let this phone die in the market as it has so many good features (also shared by E63)

This is an old article, but I need to vent. I HATE THE PREDICTIVE TEXT ON THIS PHONE. I put up with it for a while, but this latest bullshit is just too much. It saves every mistake I've ever made - if I want to type 'no', I scroll past 'on', 'On', 'ON', 'No', 'NO', 'oo', and THEN get to 'no'. WHY isn't 'no' recorded second? Why do capitals matter? If I wanted to type NO, I'd set it to capital letters. You know, because there's a fucking button for that. And now, because as you said, abbreviations are impossible, I've apparently typed 'c' more often than 'a', and now it offers 'c' as the first choice. And I can't change it back. No matter how many times I try to convince it that I do, in fact, use 'a' more than 'c', it won't change. So many quick-fire texts disrupted by having to change "it's c bit" to "it's A bit" to what I actually wanted: "it's a bit". Why Nokia. Why.

I used to be a fan of Nokia phones, but over the years their operating system has been slow, crashed occasionally and just isn't as good as other solutions out there. I will be buying the iPhone next as the technology and size of the phone is amazing.
